Product Description:

EUROBOND Shellac is a homogeneous viscous solution of Shellac resin, as an active ingredient and a tackifing resin dissolved in suitable solvent. On application, the solvent evaporates and surface becomes tacky, capable of holding gasket materials. It has an excellent tack retention period of 5 – 10 minutes. EUROBOND Shellac confirms to Indian Standard Specifications for Shellac Joining Compound – IS 3447: 1993.

METHOD OF USE

Clean the surfaces to be bonded thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of EUROBOND Shellac on both the surfaces of the Gasket uniformly. Do not assemble immediately. Wait approximately for 5 – 10 minutes before bonding. Assemble the gasket while the surface become tacky and apply a slight contact pressure. Full strength is achieved within 24 hours.

SHELF LIFE: Twelve months from the month of manufacture.
STORAGE: Store in cool dry place away from heat source and direct sunlight.
